The Behaviour and Attendance Hub is a group that is made up of a representative from each of the TCAT schools and colleges. The hub meets on a half-term basis to provide support and advice to each school.
The hub has been especially important in the past few months in developing procedures to support students being in and out of school.
A key strand of the hub is to use research to review and inform practice and to keep all schools informed with the latest evidence on behaviour and attendance.
It is currently looking to use research to look at an attendance best practice guide to enable schools to share ideas and strategies.
Another area of focus is the behavioural expectations in schools. The hub is currently looking into supporting all schools to ensure consistency and support.
It has been very influential in the local area and supports schools in and out of TCAT.
